You can use the following options to make changes to transactions entered on your customer accounts.
You can:
Amend Transactions.
If a transaction has not been allocated, you can amend transaction references and due dates.
Amend Allocation.
You can unallocate a transaction, using Amend Allocation.
Refund Online Card Receipts.
Refund receipts made using an online service provider such as Sage Pay.
Reverse transaction.
You can reverse a transaction, provided:
Note: You cannot reverse a foreign currency transaction, but you can refund a foreign online receipt.
Delete Transactions.
As a last resort to solve balance problems on a customer account, if there is no backup available, or to clear test data on your system before applying live data, you can delete transactions.
Provisions for Bad Debt.
Use this to write off customer debt prior to claiming back the VAT.
Write off Bad Debts.
Use this to write off customer debts and claim back the VAT.
Write off small sales amounts.
If you have small values left on your accounts, perhaps due to rounding discrepancies, you can write these values off.
